The Museum of Magic of Cherasco is the most important Italian museum dedicated to magic and illusionism. Through its rooms visitors can discover the history, the instruments and the protagonists of one of the most fascinating forms of entertainment: magic.
The Museum of Magic in Cherasco was founded on the initiative of Don Silvio Mantelli, better known as Mago Sales, who over the years and around the world has collected material and objects belonging to the great wizards of history.
The museum was born in a former kindergarten that has been renovated and adapted to the initiative; it is divided into 18 themed rooms set up scenically, a theater used for illusionism shows, a library entirely dedicated to the theme of magic and that has over 19,000 volumes available for study and research. The museum is a real journey in which children and adults are actively involved in a fairy-tale context.
You will discover the ancient origins of magic and illusionism, the main tools of magicians, the different forms of magic shows, the people who made the history of magic, the links of magic with the world of the occult.
