The castle, built by Luchino Visconti in 1348 was an imposing square-shaped building, with towers at the four corners and a smaller one on the entrance with a drawbridge. Since 1910 it has been renovated and is now privately owned.
To the right of the castle offers tourists a nice walk along the avenue of plane trees. Splendid is the view over the hills of Novello, la Morra and Vergne.
